Methods for Editing Gene Sequences The present disclosure describes methods, polynucleotides, cells, compositions, and treatment methods that involve alteration of genomic nucleotide sequences. In general, the method involves introducing a donor polynucleotide and a nucleotide encoding an enzyme that cleaves at least one strand of DNA into a cell having a genomic sequence that needs to be edited, and at least a portion of the genomic sequence by the enzyme. Cleaving one strand and replacing the genomic sequence that needs editing with the donor sequence. [Selection] Figure 1 |
