titleOfInvention | Method for producing nanofibril cellulose and nanofibril cellulose product |
abstract | In the method for producing nanofibril cellulose, cellulosic fiber materials whose internal bonds within the cellulose fibers have been weakened by pre-modification of cellulose are subjected to a degradation treatment in the form of pulp containing fibers and liquid. The fiber material is a degradation process at a concentration of greater than 10 wt-%, preferably at least 15 wt-%, between repeated impact on the fiber material by fast moving continuous elements and weakened internal bonding of cellulose fibers. It is supplied to the decomposition process in which the fibrils are detached from the fiber material by the composite effect. Nanofibril cellulose is recovered from the degradation process with a dry matter amount equal to or greater than the concentration of the fiber material. In the decomposition process, the fiber material is subjected to several counter-rotating rotors (R1) radially outward with respect to the rotational axis (RA) of the rotor so that it is repeatedly subjected to shear and impact forces due to the effect of different counter-rotating rotor blades (1). , R2, R3... |
