abstract | The present disclosure generally relates to at least one reusable module of an adsorbent cartridge in an adsorbent dialysis system. One of the disadvantages of conventional adsorbent dialysis systems is the high cost. In one aspect of the invention, the adsorbent cartridge comprises at least one module for optionally refilling in-line with the adsorbent material comprising zirconium phosphate using the optional bypass and conduit for the adsorbent cartridge. The adsorbent cartridge may have two or more modules connected to each other through a connector. These modules may be reusable and the adsorbent material contained within the modules can be refilled, thereby reducing the cost of the adsorbent dialysis system. [Selection] Figure 13 |
