The subject of the present invention is a neurokinin-1 receptor antagonist for use in a method for cancer prevention. In particular, the subject of the present invention is a neurokinin-1 receptor antagonist or a tautomer thereof, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or medicament thereof, for use in a method for cancer prevention, with a compound of formula (I) A tautomerically acceptable salt thereof. In a very specific embodiment, the non-peptidic antagonist fosaprepitant or aprepitant is the neurokinin-1 receptor antagonist. In another specific embodiment, the subject of the invention is a neurokinin-1 receptor antagonist for use in a method of cancer prevention as a single therapeutic agent. |
