Analysis of genomic DNA, RNA and proteins in exosomes for diagnosis and therapy |
abstract |
The present invention provides that exosomes derived from human body fluid samples contain double-stranded genomic DNA across all chromosomes and can be used to determine the mutation status of a gene of interest in diseases such as cancer. Furthermore, the present invention relates to the use of exosomes to make therapeutic proteins, and the use of therapeutic proteins in therapy, and detection of cancer cell-derived exosomes for diagnosing cancer and monitoring therapeutic responses. I will provide a. In one aspect, a method for isolating a cancer cell-derived exosome is provided, the method comprising: (a) obtaining a body fluid sample from a cancer patient; and (b) isolating an exosome fraction of the body fluid sample. And (c) isolating exosomes containing glypican 1 from the exosome fraction, thereby isolating cancer cell-derived exosomes. |
