titleOfInvention | Method for producing graft-modified polypropylene resin |
abstract | Graft-modified polypropylene resin capable of reducing foreign matters generated by side reactions and increasing the amount of graft, particularly reducing defects when formed into a film, in the production of graft-modified polypropylene resin. It is to provide a manufacturing method. [Solution] A method for producing a graft-modified polypropylene resin, wherein the length of the reaction part 1 is 30% or more and 65% or less when the length of the whole reaction part consisting of the reaction part 1 and the reaction part 2 is 100%. Using a screw extruder, (a) a polypropylene resin and (b) a radical polymerization initiator are reacted in the reaction section 1, and then, in the reaction section 2, (b) the decomposition rate of the radical polymerization initiator is 20%. It was found that the problem can be solved by adding (c) a monomer having an ethylenic double bond and a polar group in the same molecule and reacting them in a state of 70% or less.
