abstract | Disclosed is a deodorant composition which is excellent in dispersibility even though the dispersion medium is an organic solvent system, does not precipitate components in the liquid, and does not cause whitening when supported on fibers, fabrics and the like. A deodorant composition includes an inorganic porous material, a metal oxide, an amine compound, a metal hydroxide, an organic solvent, and a dispersant having an acidic group. The acidic group of the dispersant is preferably one or more acidic groups selected from the group consisting of a phosphate group, a carboxyl group, a hydroxyl group, and a sulfone group.
