abstract |
To provide a method and a reagent for more specifically quantifying cholesterol (TRL-C) in a triglyceride-rich lipoprotein in a test sample without requiring complicated operations. A method for quantitatively determining TRL-C is a step of specifically eliminating cholesterol in lipoproteins other than triglyceride-rich lipoprotein (TRL) by acting a cholesterol esterase having a molecular weight exceeding 50 kDa and a surfactant.
