abstract The present invention provides a composite woven fabric that can be easily and effectively dyed and includes a bacteria-derived biopolymer layer suitable for production of clothing. A composite woven fabric (10) includes a base woven fabric (1) and at least one bacterial-derived biopolymer layer (20). The base woven fabric (1) comprises a warp yarn (2) and a weft yarn (3) (4) that are woven together. The first plurality of warp yarns and the at least one plurality of first weft yarns form a base layer (1a) of the base fabric and at least one second plurality of warp yarns; and At least one of the plurality of second weft yarns forms an additional layer (1b) of the loop portion (7) on at least one side of the base fabric surface (5) (6). At least one bacterial-derived biopolymer layer (20) is formed on at least a portion of the additional layer (1b).
