abstract | 【Task】 To provide a liquid crystal display element whose display quality does not deteriorate even when exposed to strong light for a long time. To provide a liquid crystal aligning agent that can provide such a display element, and further a liquid crystal aligning film. [Solution] In a liquid crystal display element in which a liquid crystal is sandwiched between a pair of substrates each having an alignment film on the opposite surface, the alignment film includes a polymer (A) having no photoreactive structure and a polymer having a photoreactive structure. (B) formed of a liquid crystal aligning agent for photo-alignment, wherein the polymer (A) is segregated on the liquid crystal side of the alignment film, and the polymer (B) is segregated on the substrate side of the alignment film.
