titleOfInvention | Nitrogen oxide sensor |
abstract | A nitrogen oxide sensor capable of suppressing deterioration in detection accuracy of NOx concentration due to a decrease in output of a sensor cell is provided. A NOx sensor includes a measured gas chamber, a sensor cell, a pump cell, a voltage application circuit, a sensor output detector, and a voltage control unit that controls an applied voltage to the sensor cell. The concentration calculation unit 80e that calculates the NOx concentration in the measured gas, the temperature estimation unit 80b that estimates the temperature of the pump cell, the air-fuel ratio estimation unit 80d that estimates the air-fuel ratio of the measured gas, and the pump cell temperature of 500 A time calculation unit 80c that calculates an integrated value of a time that is equal to or higher than ° C. and within a predetermined temperature range below the activation temperature of the pump cell and that the air-fuel ratio of the measured gas is leaner than the theoretical air-fuel ratio as the first integrated time. With. When the first integration time is relatively long, the concentration calculation unit calculates the NOx concentration in the gas to be measured higher than the output of the sensor cell as compared with the case where the first integration time is relatively short.
