abstract To provide a bath agent using calcium hydride, which has extremely high reactivity with moisture and is unsuitable for handling and formulation. Gels in a bath containing calcium hydride having an average particle size of 0.12 to 2 mm and blended with a polyvalent aliphatic carboxylic acid such as malic acid, succinic acid, fumaric acid and citric acid. Bathing agent with excellent foaming power that keeps stability by forming into granules, briquettes or tablets coated with an oil component. Furthermore, it is preferable to contain one or more inorganic salt powders selected from sodium sulfate, magnesium sulfate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride and alum. [Selection figure] None
