Method for producing ceramide |
abstract |
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for efficiently producing ceramide from glycosphingolipids using endoglycoceramidase without substantially adding a surfactant. When a ceramide is released from a glycosphingolipid using endoglycoceramidase in the substantial absence of a surfactant, the hydrolysis reaction of the glycosphingolipid by the endoglycoceramidase is initiated in the presence of ceramide. Thus, ceramide can be efficiently produced. [Selection figure] None |
