abstract Disclosed is a molten solid type cleaning composition that is small and compact and can be highly concentrated, and even when stored for a long period of time, the container containing the composition is not deformed or damaged. The present invention provides a molten solid-type cleaning composition having excellent cleaning properties in which silica scale does not adhere to a cleaning machine. The molten solid detergent composition of the present invention comprises an aminocarboxylic acid chelating agent as component (A), an alkali metal silicate as component (B), a polymer as component (C), (D) It contains alkali metal hydroxide as a component, water as component (E), and contains SiO2 and M2O (M2O is an alkali metal oxide) with a molar ratio of SiO2 / M2O of 0.3 or more and 0.5 or less. And (C) a polymer and SiO2 are contained in a mass ratio such that the value of (C) polymer / SiO2 is 0.15 or more and 0.95 or less. [Selection figure] None
