abstract |
[Problem] To provide a beverage containing an inulin having an intestinal regulating action at a high concentration and suppressing the miscellaneous taste characteristic of inulin. A containerized tea beverage having an inulin content of 1 to 6 g / 100 ml, a catechin content of 1 to 800 ppm, and containing a polymerized polyphenol. Beverages preferably having an inulin content of 1.5 to 4 g / 100 ml, a catechin content of 100 to 600 ppm, and a polymerized polyphenol content of 10 to 600 ppm. The beverage in which the ratio of inulin content to the product of catechin content and polymerized polyphenol content (inulin content / (catechin content × polymerized polyphenol content)) is more preferably 0.02 to 60000.
