titleOfInvention | Dry methane fermentation method and dry methane fermentation apparatus |
abstract | [Problem] To provide a dry methane fermentation method and a dry methane fermentation apparatus capable of efficiently reducing and reducing a fermentation residue generated in a large amount by dry methane fermentation of organic waste. The organic waste containing the biodegradable organic substance and the non-biodegradable organic substance is subjected to a pretreatment for removing the non-biodegradable organic substance, followed by a dry methane fermentation treatment. The fermentation residue generated by the dry methane fermentation treatment is dried to a moisture content of 30 wt% or less. For drying the fermentation residue, heat energy from biogas generated in dry methane fermentation is used. By drying the fermentation residue to a low water content of 30 wt% or less, the fermentation residue can be greatly reduced in volume and weight. Since this dry residue can be incinerated in a small incinerator, the incinerator can be downsized. The dry residue can be easily discharged out of the system and reused as a fuel material. In that case, the incinerator can be further downsized. [Selection] Figure 1 |
