titleOfInvention Disposable diapers
abstract A disposable diaper is provided which has improved breathability and which can reliably engage the engaging portion of a fastening tape to the abdomen of an exterior sheet. The exterior sheet is formed of a first exterior sheet located outside, a second exterior sheet located inside, and an elastic stretchable member provided between the first exterior sheet and the second exterior sheet, The elastic stretchable member extends in the front-rear direction at predetermined intervals in the width direction in a predetermined stretched state, and fastening tapes extending in the width direction are provided on the dorsal portions of the exterior sheets, respectively, and the tip portions of the fastening tapes. When the disposable diaper is put on, the contraction of the elastic stretchable member forms an undulating portion continuous in the width direction on the belly side portion of the first exterior sheet.
