abstract | An object of the present invention is to increase the production efficiency of a reduction product. An electrochemical reaction apparatus includes an electrolyte bath including a first storage section that stores a first electrolyte solution, and a second storage section that stores a second electrolyte solution; A reduction electrode immersed in the electrolytic solution; and an oxidation electrode immersed in the second electrolytic solution. The second electrolytic solution contains an oxidizable substance. The first electrolytic solution has a first liquid phase containing water and a second liquid phase containing an organic solvent and in contact with the first liquid phase.
