The present invention provides a plated steel sheet that can be used as a coating original sheet of a coated steel sheet having sufficient coating film adhesion regardless of whether it is stored before coating or without performing a degreasing treatment before coating. The plated steel sheet is surface-treated. The plated steel sheet includes one or both of a hot-dip plated steel sheet having a hot-dip plated layer of a plated metal disposed on the steel sheet and the surface thereof, and an amino alcohol compound and an amino acid disposed on the surface of the hot-dip plated layer.
