titleOfInvention Method for producing resin granules
abstract In a method for producing a resin granule of polycarbonate or polyarylate, the blockage problem of a poor solvent suspension of resin granule is solved. A jacketed granulation tank 1 equipped with a stirrer 2, a resin solution introduction pipe 3, a poor solvent supply pipe 4, an organic solvent vapor discharge pipe 5, and a resin suspension discharge pipe 6 is used. An organic solvent solution of a polycarbonate resin or a polyarylate resin is continuously ejected from the resin solution introduction tube 3 with stirring, and heated while maintaining the suspended state of the resin in the poor solvent. A method for producing a resin granule in which a resin granule is produced by distilling off an organic solvent solution of the resin from a plurality of openings 3a provided in the resin solution introduction tube 3 in the poor solvent.
