Disclosed is a novel composition for forming a separation layer, which can successfully form a separation layer having high chemical resistance by coating, and a laminate using the composition. The separation layer in a laminate 10 in which a substrate 1 and a support 2 that transmits light are laminated via an adhesive layer 3 and a separation layer 4 that is altered by irradiation with light.
