abstract [PROBLEMS] To separate a large amount of used refractories for each material with high accuracy without relying on manual work. A method for reusing used refractories includes a separate collection step for separating and collecting used refractories for each material having different chemical components based on a difference in color tone. When sorting used refractories for each material based on the difference in color tone, it is desirable to use a color sorter. Moreover, it is desirable to crush used refractories before performing the separation and recovery step. Moreover, it is desirable to remove the powder with a particle size of 1 mm or less contained in the used refractory. Thereby, a large amount of used refractories can be sorted for each material with high accuracy without depending on manual work. [Selection figure] None
