titleOfInvention | Ester wax for toner, and toner, developer, toner containing unit and image forming apparatus using the same |
abstract | The present invention provides an ester wax that is used as a component of a toner and that can produce a toner with less generation of ultrafine particles (UFP) when the toner is used in an image forming apparatus. The general formula R-COO-R ' (R: an alkyl group having 13 to 23 carbon atoms, R ′: an alkyl group having 18 to 22 carbon atoms) A toner ester wax containing a long-chain aliphatic ester represented by the formula (1), wherein the aliphatic alcohol having 18 to 22 carbon atoms is less than 3% by mass. By using this ester wax, the content of the aliphatic alcohol having 18 to 22 carbon atoms in the toner can be reduced. [Selection figure] None |
