PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent electrophotographic photosensitive member, an electrophotographic photosensitive member cartridge, and an image forming apparatus which are not easily adversely affected by fluorescent light or natural light while maintaining the electrical characteristics of the photosensitive member. In a multilayer electrophotographic photosensitive member, an energy level E_lumo is expressed by the following formula in a charge generation layer having α-type titanyl phthalocyanine as a charge generation material.
