abstract An object of the present invention is to suppress the growth of true eye-point algae during culture. A true eye-point algae culture apparatus 100 includes a plurality of LED units 6. The LED unit 6 is configured by using a plurality of suppression LEDs that emit light having a center wavelength of 630 nm. The LED unit 6 of the true eye point algae culture device 100 is installed on the edge of the water tank 101 with the front face facing the inside of the water tank 101. By irradiating the cultured strain 10 in the water tank 101 with sunlight, the growth of the Nannochloropsis occulta 13 in the cultured strain 10 is promoted. When the LED unit 6 of the true eye point algae culture device 100 is operated, light from the LED of the LED unit 6 is applied to the nannochloropsis oculata 13 in the culture strain 10.
