abstract |
A liquid ejecting apparatus capable of suppressing contamination by waste liquid is provided. A liquid ejecting apparatus includes a liquid ejecting unit having a nozzle capable of ejecting liquid to a medium, a wiping unit 833 capable of wiping the liquid ejecting unit, and a liquid ejecting unit at a position facing the liquid ejecting unit. A waste liquid receiving unit 835 that receives the waste ink HI discharged by the maintenance operation for performing the maintenance, and a collection unit 836 that contacts the waste liquid receiving unit 835 and collects the waste ink HI received by the waste liquid receiving unit 835. .
