abstract | To provide a novel urease activity inhibitor, a composition for inhibiting urease, a method for producing a composition for inhibiting urease, a method for producing food and drink, a food and drink, and a soil improver. SOLUTION: After performing partition extraction using hexane or the like from an extract obtained by contacting wasabi leaves with a solvent such as an aqueous ethanol solution, the hexane layer is fractionated by column chromatography to separate active ingredients 1 and 2 obtain. Active ingredient 1 is diacylphosphatidylethanol and active ingredient 2 is sulfoquinovosyl diacylglycerol. These active ingredients 1 and 2 function as urease activity inhibitors.
