abstract | A polymerizable liquid crystal composition capable of easily producing an optical film in which a smectic phase oriented in a horizontal direction is formed is provided. A leveling agent comprising a polymerizable liquid crystal compound exhibiting a smectic phase, a leveling agent and a solvent, wherein the leveling agent comprises a leveling agent comprising a polyacrylate compound as a main component and a leveling agent comprising a fluorine atom-containing compound as a main component. A polymerizable liquid crystal composition that is at least one selected and has a leveling agent content of 0.3 to 5 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the polymerizable liquid crystal compound.
