abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working medium for a refrigeration cycle capable of effectively suppressing or mitigating a disproportionation reaction of 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene (HFO1123), and a refrigeration cycle system using the same. A working fluid for a refrigeration cycle is composed of at least a 1,1,2-trifluoroethylene refrigerant component and CH m X n (where X is a group consisting of F, Cl, Br, and I). Is a halogen atom selected, m is an integer of 0 or more, n is an integer of 1 or more, and the sum of n and m is 4, and when n is 2 or more, X is the same or different Halomethane (except when X is only F) is added.
