abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of a disproportionation reaction of a refrigerant in a refrigeration apparatus using the refrigerant. A refrigeration apparatus includes a heat source unit, a use unit, a liquid refrigerant pipe, and a gas refrigerant pipe. The usage unit 20A includes usage unit internal conduits 29a to 29c. The liquid refrigerant pipe 31 and the gas refrigerant pipe 32 connect the heat source unit 10 and the utilization unit internal pipe lines 29a to 29c. The refrigerant is mainly composed of HFO and HFC, and circulates through the heat source unit 10, the utilization unit 20A, the liquid refrigerant pipe 31, and the gas refrigerant pipe 32. The refrigerating machine oil is mainly composed of an alkyl aromatic hydrocarbon and an oxygen-containing hydrocarbon. The oxygen-containing hydrocarbon contains at least one of ether and ester. A disproportionation reaction inhibitor that suppresses the disproportionation reaction of the refrigerant is applied to at least some of the inner surfaces of the liquid refrigerant pipe 31, the gas refrigerant pipe 32, and the usage unit internal pipes 29a to 29c.
