An anion exchange membrane having high membrane strength and good ion exchange performance and excellent in organic contamination resistance and a method for producing the anion exchange membrane are provided. A layer containing a vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) containing 7 to 40 mol% of cationic monomer units, and vinyl containing 5 to 30 mol% of cationic monomer units. And a B layer containing the alcohol copolymer (B), and the molar fraction of the cationic monomer unit in the vinyl alcohol copolymer (A) is cationic in the vinyl alcohol copolymer (B). An anion exchange membrane that is larger than the molar fraction of monomer units and is formed by laminating an A layer and a B layer. [Selection figure] None |
