titleOfInvention Method for producing tetrahydrofuran
abstract In a method for producing tetrahydrofuran from 1,4-butanediol using an acid catalyst, the reaction rate is lowered, the amount of solid by-products is reduced, and industrially advantageous in that high productivity can be stably obtained. A method for producing such tetrahydrofuran is provided. To obtain tetrahydrofuran by supplying 1,4-butanediol to a reactor and carrying out a dehydration cyclization reaction in the presence of an acid catalyst, the water concentration in the reactor liquid phase is changed to 1.4 to 10%. A method for producing tetrahydrofuran in the range of wt%. [Selection figure] None
