abstract | An aluminum plating solution capable of continuously producing an aluminum film having a smooth surface and excellent elongation is provided. An aluminum plating solution capable of electrodepositing aluminum on a substrate surface, the aluminum plating solution comprising (A) an aluminum halide, (B) an alkylimidazolium halide, and an alkylpyridinium halogen. Any one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of a compound and a urea compound, and (C) an organic compound containing a benzene ring, which is a solid at room temperature and whose constituent elements are hydrogen, carbon, oxygen and halogen atoms. An organic compound selected from the group consisting of one or more organic compounds, and the mixing ratio of the component (A) and the component (B) is in the range of 1: 1 to 3: 1 in molar ratio.
