abstract | The present invention provides an unsaturated polyester which has crystallinity and can be improved in discoloration resistance and crack resistance of a cured product of the composition by being contained in the composition. An unsaturated polyester (A) is a copolymer of a carboxylic acid (a1) and an alcohol (a2), and the carboxylic acid (a1) contains fumaric acid and 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid. The total amount of fumaric acid and 1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid with respect to carboxylic acid (a1) is 99% by mass or more, and alcohol (a2) contains 1,6-hexanediol, and alcohol ( The unsaturated polyester whose amount of 1,6-hexanediol is 99% by mass or more relative to a2).
