A method of overlapping laser welding of plated steel plates, in which a slit S is processed in advance by laser processing on a welded portion of a first plated steel plate 1A facing a laser welding head 5, and a plating layer around the slit S is formed. After the removal, the first plated steel plate 1A and the second plated steel plate 1B are overlapped, and laser welding is performed by irradiating the laser beam LB along the slit S from the first plated steel plate 1A side.
