abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing a rubber composition capable of improving both on-ice performance and wear resistance of a tire. A rubber composition comprising at least two diene polymers forming a plurality of incompatible polymer phases, silica surface-treated with a sulfur-containing silane coupling agent, and carbon black. A production method, which is incompatible with the diene polymer (A) having the lowest glass transition temperature among the diene polymers whose blending amount is 20% by mass or more of the total amount of the diene polymer.
