The present invention provides a curable resin composition capable of obtaining a cured product excellent in heat resistance and thermal stability while satisfying dielectric characteristics in a high frequency region suitable for a printed wiring board. A curable resin composition of the present invention includes an epoxy resin (A) and a cyclic olefin copolymer (B). And ratio ((A) / (B)) of content of the epoxy resin (A) with respect to content of the cyclic olefin copolymer (B) in the said curable resin composition is 5 more than 50 or less.
