abstract | A method for producing a nucleating agent master batch capable of producing a nucleating agent master batch capable of improving transparency and physical properties with respect to a polyethylene resin. A method for producing a masterbatch in which a nucleating agent is blended with an ethylene polymer, wherein a nucleating agent component is dissolved in an organic aluminum compound or a mixed solvent of an organic aluminum compound and an organic solvent. The ethylene monomer is blended before or during the polymerization of the ethylene monomer so that the nucleating agent component is 0.05 to 20 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the ethylene polymer obtained by polymerizing the monomer.
