abstract | The present invention has low gas properties and significantly suppresses mold contamination during continuous molding. A method for producing a polyester resin composition comprising a polyester resin A, a metal organic acid salt B, and a carboxylic acid reactive group-containing compound C, wherein a master pellet containing the metal organic acid salt B is added. The polyester resin A contains 70 to 100% by weight of polybutylene terephthalate resin and 0 to 30% by weight of polyethylene terephthalate resin, and the metal organic acid salt B is an alkali metal organic acid salt and an alkali. One or both of earth metal organic acid salts, the master pellet contains a predetermined amount of either one or both of alkali metal atoms and alkaline earth metal atoms, and the polyester resin composition contains alkali metal atoms.
