titleOfInvention | Ink, ink cartridge, and ink jet recording method |
abstract | A water-based ink capable of recording a high-quality image even after storage, even when a self-dispersing pigment is contained as a color material, suppressing fluctuations in physical properties due to gas components in the atmosphere and a decrease in intermittent ejection stability. An ink cartridge using ink and an ink jet recording method are provided. A water-based ink for ink jet printing comprising a self-dispersing pigment containing an aromatic sulfinic acid or a salt thereof and polystyrene sulfonic acid or a salt thereof. In addition, an ink cartridge including water-based ink and ink storage portions 14 and 16 for storing water-based ink, and an ink jet recording method for recording an image on a recording medium by discharging water-based ink from a recording head. The self-dispersing pigment preferably has an anionic group bonded to the pigment particle surface via another atomic group, and the surface charge amount of the self-dispersing pigment is preferably 0.025 to 1.000 mmol / g or less. ink. A water-based ink in which the pigment type of the self-dispersing pigment is preferably carbon black. [Selection] Figure 1 |
