titleOfInvention Biaxially oriented polyester film
abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a polyester film that improves the yield of an optical film by reducing the number of scratches transferred to the optical film without deteriorating the transparency of the optical film. A biaxially oriented polyester film having at least one surface satisfying all of the following (1) to (5). (1) The center surface roughness (SRa) is 5 nm or more and 60 nm or less. (2) The 10-point average roughness (SRz) is 200 nm or more and 2000 nm or less. (3) The number of scratches with an elevation difference of 1 μm or more is 1 or less per 1 m 2. (4) The number of scratches with an elevation difference of 0.3 μm or more and less than 1 μm is 5 or less per 1 m 2. (5) The number of scratches with a height difference of 0.1 μm or more and less than 0.3 μm is 20 or less per 1 m 2. [Selection figure] None
