abstract The present invention provides an immunogenic product containing IFNα for the prevention or treatment of IFNα-related diseases. An immunogenic product comprising IFNα combined with a carrier protein molecule for use in preventing or treating an IFNα-related disease, and its use for treating an IFNα-related condition, which is administered. An immunogenic product having a therapeutically effective amount of 30 mcg or more, preferably 35 to 1000 mcg. Examples of carrier protein molecules include KLH, and IFNα-related symptoms include systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis, scleroderma, Sjogren's syndrome, vasculitis, HIV, type I diabetes, autoimmune thyroiditis and myositis Is given.
