abstract | The present invention provides a technique capable of easily and accurately quantifying the concentration of chloride ions. In a solution containing chloride ions, trivalent iron ions are masked, and the solution is subjected to potentiometric titration using a silver electrode under acidic conditions to determine the concentration of chloride ions.
