abstract An object of the present invention is to provide a sanitary material backsheet that is excellent in all of mechanical strength, moisture permeability, texture, and leakproofness. [Solution] A chain extender that is at least one selected from the group consisting of a polymer diol (A) having a polyoxyethylene chain, a diisocyanate (B), ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, 1,4-butanediol, and thiodiethylene glycol ( C) and an essential constituent monomer, a urethane film for sanitary materials containing a polyurethane resin (U) for urethane films for sanitary materials that satisfies the following conditions. (1) (U) does not have a polyoxytetramethylene group represented by the following formula (1). - (OCH 2 CH 2 CH 2 CH 2) n - (1) [N is an integer of 2 or more. ] (2) The thermal softening temperature of the dry film of (U) is 200 to 250 ° C. (3) The urethane group content of (U) is 12 to 18% by weight. (4) The oxyethylene group content of (U) is 20 to 60% by weight [Selection figure] None
