The present invention contains one or more compounds represented by general formula (N-1) and one or more compounds represented by general formula (L). A compound in which n N11 + n N12 in the compound represented by formula (N-1) is 2, 3 or 4 and a compound in which n L1 in the compound represented by formula (L) is 1, 2 or 3 Provided are a composition having a total content of 60% by mass or more, a liquid crystal display device using the composition, and a liquid crystal display device using the composition.
