titleOfInvention | Gel electrophoresis apparatus and gel electrophoresis method |
abstract | Provided are a gel electrophoresis apparatus and a gel electrophoresis method capable of satisfactorily separating a target substance contained in whole blood. A gel electrophoresis apparatus having a well, a first buffer tank, a support section, a second buffer tank, a third buffer tank, and a power supply section. The whole blood 90 is arranged in the well 20. The support is provided so that the electrophoresis gel 22 is placed and one end of the electrophoresis gel 22 communicates with the other end of the well 20. The third buffer tank 60 is provided with the third electrode 62 disposed therein so that the stored third buffer solution 64 communicates with the intermediate portion 23 between one end and the other end of the electrophoresis gel 22. The power supply unit 70 applies the voltage applied to the first electrode 32 and the second electrode 52 to the whole blood 90 deposited on the other end of the well 20 without being able to enter the electrophoresis gel 22. When inhibited by contained blood cells, the voltage application to the first electrode 32 and the second electrode 52 is stopped, and the voltage application to the second electrode 52 and the third electrode 62 is executed to resume electrophoresis. .
