【Task】 To develop chelate resins that can be easily and efficiently produced and that can efficiently adsorb and separate metal ions. [Solution] After suspension polymerization of N-vinylcarboxylic acid amide and a crosslinkable monomer in salt water in the presence of a dispersant to obtain polyvinylcarboxylic acid amide crosslinked polymer particles, the polyvinylcarboxylic acid amide crosslinked polymer is hydrolyzed. By using polyvinyl amine crosslinked polymer particles as a chelate resin, it is possible to efficiently adsorb and separate metal ions in water. In particular, the adsorption performance of heavy metal ions such as platinum ions, palladium ions, ruthenium ions, gold ions and copper ions is excellent. [Selection figure] None |
