titleOfInvention Identification and alignment of multiple mark jigs
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for aligning a coordinate system. Aligning a coordinate system in an image is performed by installing a calibration jig having at least two collinear landmarks that are opaque to diagnostic imaging. The collinear quaternions are detected in the jig image and the image anharmonic ratio of each of the collinear quaternions is calculated. A candidate line is established by associating at least one collinear landmark quaternary with at least one collinear image quaternary having a matching landmark anharmonic ratio. Each alignment of the calibration jig with the image is performed using the pair of candidate lines. One of the alignments is selected, and the selected alignment has a residual that is less than a predetermined value. [Selection] Figure 1
