abstract |
The present invention provides a method and kit for detecting influenza A virus that is not affected by differences in influenza A virus subtypes or virus mutations. Also provided are a method and kit for detecting influenza A virus, which has a smaller cross-reactivity with the human genome than conventional methods. A base sequence specific to influenza A virus is amplified by a SmartAmp method using a primer that specifically hybridizes to the base sequence of the influenza A virus genome. Thereby, the influenza A virus is detected regardless of differences in virus subtypes and the presence or absence of virus mutations. Moreover, the cross reaction with the human genome is suppressed. [Selection] Figure 2 |
