abstract A semiconductor laser device package and a semiconductor laser device are provided in which a deviation of an optical path of a laser beam emitted from a mounted semiconductor laser device is suppressed. A semiconductor laser device package mounts a recess 5 opened on the upper surface side, a step portion 5a provided on the bottom surface of the recess 5, and a semiconductor laser device 10 provided on the upper side of the step portion 5a. Mounting part 2a and reflection mirror part 3 provided below the stepped part 5a to reflect the laser light emitted from the semiconductor laser element 10 mounted on the mounting part 2a and change the direction of the optical axis of the laser light. The cross-sectional shape in the cross section parallel to the width direction provided along the step portion 5a at the portion between the step portion 5a and the reflection mirror portion 3 is a curved portion, or the linear portion is a curved portion.
